emerge from the shadows.

A drummer opens fire with wild drum-sticks.
A seductive alto shoots
with the complicity of a tenor
who plays faster than his shadow.
The trombones join the scuffle
with their sliding weapons.
Amongst these dodgy rogues
a trumpet blasts out at point blank range
a crazy melody.
